Logan Phoenix - Our Purpose

Logan Phoenix Stone was born on August 17, 2012 to James and Mary Stone.  He was a handsome baby boy whose smile could brighten your day.  He loved being held, kissed and cuddled. Being stroked from cheek to cheek would always get him to smile.  He was alert and would study the faces of everyone he met.  Logan was so curious about the world!

Logan was diagnosed with congenital glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), a type of brain tumor, on October 24, 2012 and died from related causes on October 25, 2012. Surgery had been performed to remove the tumor, but it was too vascular to be removed. Logan's surgeon and oncologist were from the Children's National Hospital in DC. We were, and continue to be, very impressed with their caring attitude and genuine desire to help.

While Logan's condition was terminal, we enjoyed the full two months we had with him.  He brought us pure happiness and we are grateful he chose us as his parents. We live for him, to continue his memory, and to help other families through the Children's Miracle Network.
